Hellas Prototyping is offering a high 3D scanning/reverse engineering quality services as well as highly accurate scan data through its up to date laser-based scan technology.

Our company uses two of the most sophisticated 3d laser scanners to collect data from any part in order to offer a 3d digital representation model as well as make prototypes and/or take measurements and finally, use the models in various CAD softwares. The parts can be created in a way that they can be exported to plenty file formats so that they can be built or IGES/STEP file formats to be used for manufacturing and product renderings and also in rapid prototyping processes.

The first one is Creaform’s portable 3d scanner the REVSCAN which offers great accuracy (0.050mm), less time, FEA analysis and reverse engineering. This 3d scanner covers a very large amount of applications in any industry.

The other one is Next Engine’s 3D scanner which is used for smaller applications/projects without the need for accuracy and detail.

Moreover, the scanned models can be used for computer graphics and/or animation saving a lot of modeling time. Along with our 3D printing equipment, any object can be built and be presented as a plastic (ABS) model or in a variety of materials. Having a CAD model through 3D scanning can be used to design molds and castings as well.

We can create a model through 3d scanning in any of the following 3d formats: dae, .fbx, .ma, .obj, .ply, .stl, .txt, .wrl, .x3d, .x3dz, .zpr. Also, a generation of NURBS surfaces or splines can be taken from your object and export IGES/STEP files.

Send us a photo of you object through e-mail and we will give you a quote.
